- Does anyone know what the situation is relating to copyright of information
- placed on a CWIS? Two aspects arise:
-
- 1) Can any information provider place copyright restrictions on information
- which is, after all, being placed in the public domain.
-
- 2) What are the laws relating to the use of copyrighted material (say, from
- a book, manual or other document) on a CWIS?
-
- I realise that answers may be country specific, but a comparison of the
- different regulations would be interesting in itself.
-
- Thanks,
-
