  12. Does anyone know what the situation is relating to copyright of information
  13. placed on a CWIS? Two aspects arise:
  14.  
  15. 1) Can any information provider place copyright restrictions on information
  16. which is, after all, being placed in the public domain.
  17.  
  18. 2) What are the laws relating to the use of copyrighted material (say, from
  19. a book, manual or other document) on a CWIS?
  20.  
  21. I realise that answers may be country specific, but a comparison of the
  22. different regulations would be interesting in itself.
