I'm a reporter at the Vancouver Sun and I'm doing a story about the ubc task force report on whether to restrict internet newsgroups or not. (For those who
don't know, the task force basically says that all newsgroups should be
allowed but people signing up for accounts should be warned that if they
post or transmit stuff that is illegal -- either cuz it's hate literature
or obscene -- they run the same risks of being charged as if they were doing
