- Ami Amir will be in Austin next week, presenting a paper at the 4th Annual
- ACM-SIAM Symposium on discrete Algorithms.

- Peter Freeman is on the West coast from January 26-28 visiting the following
- companies: Apple Computer, Sun Microsystems, Go, Macromedia, Claris and
- Xerox PARC. On Friday, January 29 he will be visiting UC Berkeley. On
- Monday and Tuesday, February 1 and 2 he will be in Washington for the NRC
- Committee meeting. On Friday February 5, he will be at Drexel Institute to
- review plans for a new MS in Software Engineering.
