  12.      When I was younger (through early high school) I used to raid my mother's
  13. things so that I could CD when I was at home alone.  One of the things I liked
  14. most, I remember, was stockings.  They always felt very good on my skin, and 
  15. just "seemed" like femininity to me.
  16.      Now that I practice CDing on a semi-regular basis, and buy my own things,
  17. I would like to get some hosiery to wear with it, because of the fantastic
  18. feeling it gave me, and sometimes, when I want to be a little daring, I could 
  19. even wear them under sweatclothes or jeans, since I still live in my
  20. boyclothes to appease society.

  22.      However, this leads me to the crux of this post.

  24.      Seeing that I am 6'3", "big-boned" :-), and have a shoe size of 13 (15 
  25. womens', correct?), I have a hard time finding anything that fits me; however,
  26. I can usually find things with a little effort.  The one sore spot with me is
  27. stockings and hosiery.
  28.      Catalogs don't seem to carry anything that would fit me (the largest 
  29. that JC Penney's carries in their catalog is 6X, and considering the abyssmal
  30. experience I had with some 3X that I picked up once, thinking they'd be large 
  31. enough may be wholly incorrect.  As I recall, they came somewhere to my 
  32. mid-thigh, and even if they had fit once I had them that far, they would have 
  33. surely run because they were so stretched).  I called a place in town that is
  34. a "hosiery discounters/distributers" that is across the street from one of my
  35. favorite game stores, and they only carry up to 4X.  I'm not out enough yet
  36. to go into any of the large womens' shops (considering I have relatives who 
  37. shop in those stores, and who knows where they shop exactly all the time?).

  39.      Thus, what to do?  I'd appreciate any info that anyone could give me on 
  40. a source to solve this impasse (in the Houston area would be preferable, but
  41. mail-order may also work fine).  Also, any information as to what size fits...
  42. well, what size :-) would be appreciated.
