- I tried using toothpaste in the final wet sand. Read about it in
- a book by Nat Young "Surfing Fundamentals", guess that's in lieu of
- polishing compound. The book includes a chapter on repairing the stick.

- I agree with hand sanding with 100 grit. The power sander takes too much
- off too fast.
