- What discussion? All anyone wants to do is see the GIFs of the
- pictures that scarce few people are talking about. If the people on this
- group were really interested in supermodels and not just t and a
- perhaps they just might spend a few bucks on Vogue or Elle or even
- Cosmopolitan and actually see some diverse photos (more than just
- the swimsuit calendars that get scanned) and maybe even
- learn who these supermodels are. If you say GIFs are promoting discussion
- you're wrong, unless you call "scan, scan, scan" discussion.
-
- I've been interested in the careers of supermodels for ten years
- and I *buy* the magazines so I can see what my favourite models
- are doing, and how they're looks are changing, and what they are
- saying about their careers and the fashion and media industry that
- they work for. As well, I'm interested in the photographers who take
- their pictures to see how they choose to photograph a model,
- which models they seem to favour.

-
- Definately. I think it is great if obscure photos etc...are scanned
- so that people who live in areas where these pictures are unavailable
- can see them too, but recently it is just getting annoying trying to find any
- discussion past the numerous GIF posts. If a separate group were started
- for the pictures, everyone could post GIFs all they wanted and wouldn't
- have to worry about taking up space in a group meant for discussion.
- As well, with a separate group for pics I don't think discussion would
- be hampered because the Gifs don't seem to encourage discussion after
- everyone has seen them anyway.

- I agree with this.
-

-
- Yes, but not in this group, in a separate group for pics, right.
- I think that you, Ken Higginson, should look into starting a new group
- right away since you do have a great idea. Then people only interested
- in GIFs don't have discussion getting in their way and vice versa.
