- | Some of the recently posted files are rather large and some newservers
- | bug out. Shouldn't these files be cut up? Anyone else agree?
-
- No, no, no. It's not "my server is broken, so don't send stuff that'll
- break it". It's "my news server is broken, please send as large files as
- possible to stress test it". A 1M file requires about 18 times more
- processing if it's broken up into 20 pieces.
-
- These multi-part things are only annoying and should be discouraged.
- Please post the whole uuencoded file.
-
- Thanks for all who post files in one part.
