- Not *quite* true, though as an album I found it to be incredible, much of
- the groundwork for this one was laid in Queen II, which is still, for me,
- the most innovative thing they ever did given the time period. It's only
- natural that they built on it and progressed in `Opera', but the textures
- and harmonic abberations were first evident on `II'. If you don't have it,
- or haven't heard much of it, I'm not surprised... it was a commercial
- failure. I have it on CD if you want to give it a listen (Vic only, he
- works down the hall from me and I know where he lives. :-))
