- Hello,
-
- I'm new on The Net. I've been watching friends of mine be on The Net
- for years, and I am glad to finally be on it myself. I work for Music
- Unlimited. We are a young music management and promotion company. I am
- starting a college internship program at schools across the country, and
- would specifically like to get Netheads to be in the program. The
- following is from the announcement that we sent to college career
- centers. If you or someone you know would be interested send email to
- this account: munet@netcom.com. If you have a friend who would be
- interested, who is not already on the net, they can mail to the address
- on the bottom. However, all of our interns will be on the net because
- reading NetNews and using email is part of the internship.
-
- Thanks alot, if you have any questions send me mail.

- WHO WE ARE:
- As was mentioned, we are Music Unlimited, a unique music
- management company founded in 1991 by David Graham, son of the
- late rock impresario Bill Graham. In addition to being a young
- company with lots of energy and enthusiasm, we've got the contacts
- and experience of the country's most successful and prestigious
- promoter, Bill Graham Presents. Since our inception, we have
- been involved with a number of fascinating and diverse projects
- such as: the first ever 100% environmentally sound concert with The
- Band, Ziggy Marley, and many others; the special arts/education/
- awareness fair for Lollapalooza '92 (in conjunction with BGP); and
- the 1992 H.O.R.D.E. tour with Blues Traveler, Phish, The Spin
- Doctors, Bela Fleck and The Flecktones, Widespread Panic,
- and Colonel Bruce Hampton and The Aquarium Rescue Unit.
-
- In addition to all of these achievements, most of Music Unlimited's
- energy has been dedicated to discovering and breaking the most
- exciting new talent in the country. The first band we worked with
- was Blues Traveler, in fact, it was largely through a network of
- college students that David, while finishing his senior year at college,
- was able to help break the band nationally. Now that Blues Traveler
- is established as one of the leading bands of the Nineties, Music
- Unlimited has taken on two hot new acts from New York, The
- Authority and The Mad Hatters. We are now in the process of
- letting the rest of the country how great these bands are.
-
- To be considered, please submit a resume and a 1 to 2 page
- comprehensive letter explaining why you would be an excellent choice.
- We look forward to hearing from you all.
