  11. Some time before Xmas someone on this board was talking about CIA
  12. (Ice Cube's old group) and wondered if they ever released anything 
  13. else than "My Posse". Well, I recently bought a compilation album called
  14. "Rap Street", released in -91 on a German label, consisting of mainly
  15. old school West Coast rap. There are two CIA cuts on it, "My Posse" and 
  16. a cut called "Ill-legal". First time I heard them, I could hardly believe 
  17. it was Ice Cube rapping. Sir Jinx and Dr. Dre are in there as well,
  18. shouting and yelling like the Beasties on top of some beats that reminds
  19. me of early 2 Live Crew.

  21. There is also a track on the album with "Dezo Daz featuring DJ Slip",
  22. called "It's My Turn". The lead rapper has a line where he says "I'm just
  23. Yomo", and he sounds like he could be the one from Yomo & Maulkie.
  24. Does anyone know if this is correct ?
