  13. On National Public Radio this morning was an interview with the newly
  14. declared Principal of the Year.  Credited with innovation, she mentioned
  15. that her favorite quote is "It's better to apoligize than to ask
  16. permission."  (Hah! - I'd like to hear a student claim that in her office.)

  18. The first time I'd heard this line was years ago on Garrison Keilor's
  19. Prairie Home Companion.  (Oddly enough, another NPR broadcast.)  Anyone
  20. know who started it - and what the context might have been?
