  39. Being fruitful, and multiplying, and replenishing also do not mean destroying
  40. or wasting or abusing.  Especially replenishing.

  42. My point is, the quote by the original poster (by Lynn White, Jr.) puts the 
  43. problems of ecology everywhere in the world squarely at the feet of 
  44. Christianity.  No mention of weather patterns, or cultural shifts, or
  45. mineral content, or individual concern.  This is a mistake.  Although it
  46. may be stated that some Christians are not doing all they can to "save the
  47. world," that can be stated about just about anyone.  The Genesis account
  48. makes it clear that God created people to take care of the world, to make
  49. it last, to enable it to supply the needs of people and animals.

  51. The concept of eating meat addressed in the previous article is entirely
  52. another matter, and I will not discuss it here.
