- Personally, I can't see how it's any of their business what your roommates'
- license numbers are. As you said, you *did* sign the exclusion. Are they
- sleazy to ask? I'm not so sure. Can you blame them for seeing information
- it might be in their interests to have? I do think it's insulting though.
- Heck, you signed an agreement. Will they not trust you to keep your word?
- Sometimes things like that make me take my business elsewhere. It's also
- why I have always refused to pirate non-protected software; the company
- implies by action (omitting cp) that it trusts me, so I will live up to it.
- In your place, I too would refuse to give the indicated information without
- 1) the written permission of your roommate(s), and 2) a written statement of
- purpose from the insurance company.
