  19. Back when I was a kid (adjusts his shawl and waves his ear trumpet around
  20. for emphasis) the phrase "Heinz 57" referred to a person or animal of mixed
  21. ancestry.  Heinz used to advertise "57 Varieties."  Perhaps they still do.  I
  22. haven't read any ketchup bottles lately.
