- Well, one thing I submit is that with the breakup of the Soviet Union,
- there really isn't a darn thing that anyone can do if the U.S. wants
- to do something abroad. Most countries are quite aware that the U.S.
- is the only game in town anymore. During the Persian Gulf War, you
- noticed the U.S. stepping lightly so as not to arouse the Soviets.
