- Always have been, always will be. Some are probably even lifers. In
- fact, I know of two, one a senior NCO the other a Lieutenant Colonel.
- The LtCol came out after several years, but the NCO had never hidden
- his preference. In fact,he was drafted, told them then and at every
- reenlistment interview he took. When he wanted to reenlist for the
- last time to vest in his pension they denied him. Was it because he
- is gay, or 'cause some asshole wanted to deny him his retirement.
