  19. Always have been, always will be.  Some are probably even lifers.  In
  20. fact, I know of two, one a senior NCO the other a Lieutenant Colonel.
  21. The LtCol came out after several years, but the NCO had never hidden
  22. his preference.  In fact,he was drafted, told them then and at every
  23. reenlistment interview he took.  When he wanted to reenlist for the
  24. last time to vest in his pension they denied him.  Was it because he
  25. is gay, or 'cause some asshole wanted to deny him his retirement.
