  12. heinz 57.  it means a person of many backgrounds and nationalities.  just
  13. like heinz makes several different things.  i've never heard it being related
  14. to dogs but i'm sure if you wanted to you could. we always just called them
  15. mutts.  i can't believe that this is general knowledge since i've lived in
  16. all the different regions of the us and have heard it used just about 
  17. everywhere.  guess that's what you get for assuming.  and as everyone
  18. else has mentioned or asked "why the hell did this thing get posted twenty
  19. times?"  there i was sitting at my terminal and the reader said *23 new 
  20. articles have been threaded*.  i thought great more stuff to read.  but no.
