- Well, here's my non-anonymous response.
- 1. Dan, nobody's forcing you to read alt.personals. If you can't
- handle it, read something else. Heck, skip all anonymous articles. If the real
- problem is that you just can't control your curiousity or that you just can't
- handle the thought that some people might be saying something you don't like,
- that is no reason to eliminate or limit anonymous services in any way.
- 2. Yes, sometimes the anonymous services are misused. The soap opera
- was kinda funny, but it irritated me. Still, my advice to me is the same as my
- advice to you: I don't have to read anonymous articles. I could have skipped the
- articles with soap opera subject lines. If I don't, that's nobody's problem but
- my own.
