  22.     Well, here's my non-anonymous response.
  23.     1.  Dan, nobody's forcing you to read alt.personals.  If you can't
  24. handle it, read something else.  Heck, skip all anonymous articles.  If the real
  25. problem is that you just can't control your curiousity or that you just can't
  26. handle the thought that some people might be saying something you don't like,
  27. that is no reason to eliminate or limit anonymous services in any way.
  28.     2.  Yes, sometimes the anonymous services are misused.  The soap opera
  29. was kinda funny, but it irritated me.  Still, my advice to me is the same as my
  30. advice to you: I don't have to read anonymous articles.  I could have skipped the
  31. articles with soap opera subject lines.  If I don't, that's nobody's problem but
  32. my own.
