  12. I've been lurking on personals for a long time, but after hearing
  13. about the way female posters get buried in mail... I've been
  14. hesitant to post myself.

  16. On the other hand, if I could meet one really special man... it would
  17. be worth it.  I've scanned the [D/S]?M ISO ??F a hundred times but when
  18. I see someone who looks worthwhile, he's always a thousand miles away.

  20. First, a little about me.... I'm 5'7", somewhat slender, and have
  21. blond hair which is almost dark enough to call brown.  I'm in my
  22. early thirties.  I enjoy movies, books, music (esp. Folk Rock),
  23. walking, Star Trek, games, tennis and talking.  I could list another
  24. dozen things I enjoy doing, because I'm really not a fanatic about
  25. anything.  I work in engineering at a large computer company.

  27. Here's the thing that will probably turn away most of you. :(
  28. I live in Boise, Idaho.  If you live in Portland or Salt Lake,
  29. maybe we could take turns driving.  If you live in the Bay Area...
  30. I hope that you have a plane or something, because it's an awfully
  31. long drive.

  33. The ideal man for me is intelligent without thinking that he has
  34. all of the answers.  He is a gentleman and a professional.
  35. He's not overly possessive nor is he terrified of commitment.
  36. He's honestly interested in a relationship.  He's taller than
  37. average and not obese.  He can be of any race, religion or national
  38. origin.  He is considerate and definitely not a jerk.  He makes
  39. me laugh and knows how to listen.  He has friends of his own and
  40. isn't jealous of the time I spend with my friends.

  42. Please don't respond if you live 1000 miles away, and have no
  43. practical suggestion for how we might meet!!  Also, if you don't
  44. fit the description (or aren't even close), please... don't flood
  45. my mailbox.

  48. even a handle so that I can remember you), where you live, your
  49. profession, and a general physical description.  If I can, I'll
  50. respond to everyone.
