  11. This happens every few weeks: I'll be sitting on the couch, watching the
  12. news, and my cat, sitting nearby, will bug its eyes out and start tracking
  13. something that appears to be in the air above and behind my head.

  15. I whirl around, checking for moths, flies, gnats, and descending spiders.
  16. There's nothing there.  The cat stares at the wall now, slowly moving its
  17. gaze upwards.  I don't see a damn thing.  "What is it?  What!!!"  Is there
  18. some kind of new stealth-insect that only the cat can detect?
