- They test them indoors? My friend's mid-sixties Dodge had
- the same problem, and this was 25 year ago. I guess they

- Peeve: Consumer Reports evaluation of cars show several (6 or 8)
- years of history by model by major system of each car. Often,
- one model will have 5 or more years of worse than average (black dot)
- ratings on a given system (like fuel system or electrical system).

- Dont these companies keep quality metrics?!? If the fuel systems
- are crapping out left and right, shouldnt it be time to
- redesign the fuel system? (Or is it easier to let the problem
- ride and blame the unions/competition/imports/govt regs.?)
