- Did you notice a lot of VW buses? Bumper stickers that said "I've
- tripped and I can't get down?" You missed a great show, man...
-
- Peeve: (with disclaimer -- I love those guys anyway) the Grateful Dead
- always seem to schedule their shows around here on weekdays, which is
- a pain for those of us whose concept of heavy traffic is having to
- wait through two changes of a stoplight. Of course, when they have
- them on weekends, the large ancient vehicles with a top speed of about
- 40 tend to confuse the usual bay area traffic of Hondas and Mustangs
- that can cross 3 lanes in less than a second. Oh well, I've heard
- it's a lot worse when they tour -- sitting for hours on a 2-lane
- highway in the middle of nowhere, to get to a parking lot that holds
- a thousand cars for an arena that holds 20,000 people...
-
- Anyway, I have a show to go to, later on dude.
