  29. around these parts. However admittedly 1:15A is the "program the stupid
  30. VCR to stop blinking 12:00 all the time" slot.

  33. cellular adhesion, it's good to have a break.

  38. What was the "idiot" criticizing Rush about? About not taking calls from
  39. idiots who really want him to push their "hot buttons" so they can rant
  40. and rage about how "he doesn't care," or he's "a bigot," or "rude to his
  41. guests or his subjects"?

  52.     Depends on the guests, but I think his show would go down the
  53. tubes like Whoopi's. I don't watch Whoopi because I think she's a better
  54. actress than a "talk show/couch talk" host. I don't think Rush would be
  55. a very good John McLaughlin-type one-on-one host either because as he
  56. points out, people listen to him because of his opinions, whether or not
  57. they agree with them.
  58.     I don't know if you actually listen to the radio show, but if
  59. not, I suggest reading some of the radio summaries. The last one I saw
  60. was for Jan 19 93 where Rush took calls only from those who voted for
  61. Clinton. One of the shows last week had a very good caller who
  62. disagreed with Rush (who worked at HP) talking to him about
  63. international business.
  64.     Rush is rude to those who are contemptuous of him or go to him
  65. with a "closed mind," and especially to those who want to make him look
  66. like an idiot.
