- More and more I find myself wishing I could drive my truck all the
- way up my driveway without sticking it halfway up. I also wish firewood
- was lighter, my neighbors were smarter, and that nothing within five miles
- was valuable enough to mine.

- !Peeve: I save lots of money on curtains. No, I don't have an address.

- Peeve: They're trying to give me one. The guy who got to name the roads
- named them after his kids, wife and friends (to wit: Witt's End).

- And charge you 3.00 a gallon for gas and 5.00 a gallon for milk.
- They even sell firewood in these places, smack in the middle of a
- National Forest. There is a market for firewood because the campers
- have picked the campgrounds clean (notwithstanding the fact that they
- drove past miles littered with dry, dead branches). One enterprising
- neighbor of mine sells firewood in the campgrounds out of the bed of
- his truck. He probably gets $200 a cord for it.

- Jeez, there's more Nowhere here than anything else. No need to be coy.

- Carcinoma update: non-small-cell. This is good news. I may have to
- bribe the surgeon to take a picture because they seem reluctant to let
- loose of potential biohazardous material.
