  22. ObPuzzler: The car, a 1972 Datsun 510 Estate, would run fine in a light
  23. drizzle and even for a while in a drencher. But it'd start to buck like a
  24. bronc with a thorn in its scrotum and then die. I could pull over to the side
  25. of the road before it died and keep it going with judicious abuse of the
  26. throttle, after which treatment it'd run OK, until I got back on the road.
