  23. Seriously.. I have been asked to present a mini look at paganism for the
  24. high schoolers in the local UU church this week-end and am honored but
  25. somewhat daunted by the prospect. For those of you who don't know, the
  26. Religious Education program for UU high school kids includes a program
  27. where they get exposure to several different paths and traditions so that
  28. they CAN develop their own beliefs based on the information available as
  29. Janis has so wisely suggested.

  31. Anyway, I am daunted, because I don't know if I can do justice to the subject
  32. in an hour or if I can `represent' paganism with my limited knowledge, but
  33. I am going to try. It is interesting that the group facilitator has asked
  34. me to do so, when the minister has asked me not to proclaim my paganism
  35. publicly. I am going to do a small circle casting to give them the experience.
  36. Hopefully this will explain it better than my words.

  38. BTW..Keith is it? I don't mean to sound unfairly critical, but you sound as
  39. if you view marriage like getting a job or something. I would hope that you
  40. would have discussed religion and kids and philosophies sufficiently with
  41. a prospective partner to resolve any such potential conflicts BEFORE
  42. entering into a commitment such as marriage.
