- ailsa,

- My personal favorite is a mixture of 1/4 ambergris, 1/4 Nigerian Musk,
- and 1/4 Frankincense and Myrhh, and 1/4 amber oil. Actually, 1/4 is
- pretending to more precision than I operate under. The ambergris acts as
- a fixative (and was commonly used as such in perfumes). I dump this into
- a glass container full of alcohol and let it sit for awhile. It cerainly
- gets better with age, as the alcohol smell disappears. Maybe next time
- I'll try a different kind of alcohol (ol' Grand Dad is kinda pricey).
