  23. Judging from what every woman I have talked to has said about
  24. pregnancy and giving birth, I somehow doubt many men are going
  25. to sign up for this.  Speaking for myself, I am not particularly
  26. desirous of 9 months of discomfort ending in a day or two of
  27. severe cramps culiminating in something that was desrcibed to
  28. me as "pooping out a grapefruit".

  30.   Husbands always tell their wives "Honey, if I could spare you
  31. this discomfort and take it on myself, I would", but they only
  32. say that because they know they won't have to make good on it.

  34.   What I think would be more likely is that the technology
  35. would be developed, but the evil male-dominated medical
  36. establishment would hide the information and squash all the
  37. research, because if it ever got out they'd have to put up
  38. or shut up.
