  12. I've noticed a lot of debate in both this newsgroup and in alt.sexual abuse.
  13. recovery about an article which has recently appeared in a magazine called
  14. "Ms".  This magazine has a very limited distribution in the UK, and very
  15. few Pagans will have seen it. I edit a newsletter and intend to do an
  16. article about it, what it alleges and the effect it has had on Pagans in
  17. the States. So...

  19. If you have had any hassle as a result of this or similar articles (the
  20. major problem in the UK is excessive interest from social workers towards
  21. Pagans with children), or if you simply wish to vent your spleen please
  22. get in touch.

  24. The newsletter is written in a fairly lively style and tends to parody
  25. a newspaper called the Sport (the nearest US equivalent is probably the 
  26. Weekly World News!) but don't let that put you off--I tackle serious 
  27. issues and tend to go into a surprising amount of depth given the number of
  28. words used! I concentrate on the activities of religious fundamentalists
  29. and the effects they have on Pagans and any others with "alternative"
  30. lifestyles.

  32. Any background on Fundamentalism would be much appreciated--we have enough
  33. trouble keeping up with our home-grown variety.  Important issues (to me)
  34. are things like censorship, laws (affecting religious freedom, gays,
  35. abortion etc) and any other ways that fundies try and govern the lives of
  36. everyone.
