  12. How about an inner-body experience?  A close friend of mine often has
  13. interesting subjective states or hypnogogia, wherein she receives
  14. various insights into non-apparent processes.  She told me that on one
  15. occasion she believed that she actually got in touch with the "body
  16. consciousness", i.e. a living entity that actually is responsible for
  17. regulating the autonomous processes within one's own organism.  This is
  18. well documented in some occult literature, which talks about the "body
  19. elemental".  In some sources it is described as the aggregation of the
  20. small lives of each cell, and its special kind of intelligence is
  21. dedicated to maintaining the life processes.

  24. space too.
