- you can see even in total darkness when you are OOB. The light is not

- This is due to your focusing your eyes on a light for too long...
- Don't do this. The unclearness is due to after images in your eyes.
- You should have learned of this on grade school(I don't mean to insult).

-
- They won't. While you are OOB, your body maintains all its autonomous
- systems working i.e.: heartbeat, breathing,hormones, BLINKING.

- If I could help you here, I would. All my OOBEs have been spontaneous.
- So I'm not sure what I'm doing when they happen.

- I hope this helped you understand better. I don't want you to
- go a wrong way about it.
- There are many books on how to go OOB. You could get one of these and
- practice the techniques the author has. OOBEs are as individual as
- any other human activity. Just like learning to ride a bike is getting
- a few hints i.e. "get balanced" "pedal" "keep the wheels straight" and
- you take these as just guidelines and learn to do your own way. So it
- is with OOBEs. Books or people who know can give you hints i.e.:
- -relax
- -stay warm(sheet or blanket)
- -eyes closed (works for me)
- -don't fall asleep while trying(happens a lot)
- -don't eat or drink anything for a couple of hours before trying.
- -empty your bladder(don't want to have to go while you are trying[you won't
- do it on yourself, but you won't be able to go OOB if you are distracted by
- that need])
-
- and then you go and try to have your OOBE and do it your way and what works
- for you is fine.
