- I'd like to point out that a large number of North American Indians happen
- to be Christians, and this in no way conflicts with their "Indian-ness",
- but rather enhances and completes it in their view. While the hostility of
- a largely material culture to spirituality is not surprising, for those who may
- be interested in Indian ways it might be more productive not to jump to
- the conclusion that belittling Christianity establishes a common ground.
