  20. generation (every generation has one) who is the *potential* Messiah
  21. (Hezkat Moshiach) and who would be restored to full health and
  22. anointed the actual Messiah (Moshiach Vadai) if G-d wished for the
  23. Messianic age to begin now.  Some of the breathless, unauthorized
  24. newspaper ads which individuals in Chabad occasionally place don't
  25. always make the potential/actual distinction clear, and I have
  26. complained about this to Chabad friends of mine.
