- I'm no "expert" in Hebrew :-), but isn't that the root VAV-LAMED-DALET
- vaLAD - which means young whelp, infant, or newborn? So... it would
- be: (dlvL) {considering the context}: '...according-to-(her)-being-
- too-young.'; or: '...for she was a too young of a girl.'.
