  14. One more comment to add to my extended rant. I have been having a lot
  15. of fun calculating things about that 5 grams of ionized mercury. To
  16. add some perspective on how much energy we are talking about, about
  17. 200 MeV are released per atom in the fission of 235U. 1TeV=1 million
  18. MeV. So each Hg ion would attain 50 billion times the energy released
  19. per atom in uranium fission. Wow!
