  25. generally quite unpopular in this group.

  27. On the other hand, there are at least a few of us who will state that we 
  28. practice *both* black and white magic.  However, we *don't* mean good/evil.
  29. My personal usage of white magic is the expansive, connective, frequently
  30. group-operated sort of magic I do during the full moon.  Black magic is the
  31. introspective, self-focused, solitary magic I do when the moon is dark.  I
  32. tend to prefer white over black, both because I like to work with groups and
  33. because self-examination is never a "happy, happy, joy, joy" kind of 
  34. experience.  However, I try to make sure I do both every lunar cycle--to
  35. maintain balance.
