  29. gcc-2.3.2 is in /usr1/local/bin and fixincludes has been run.

  34. Running build-install fails thusly:

  38.     make -f xmakefile all
  39.     gcc -g -static -Demacs -I./lwlib -c filelock.c
  40.     ld.so: libc.so.2: not found

  43. I have /usr/lib/libc.so.1.8 but I expect this to be statically linked using
  44. libc.a . What's wrong ?
