-
- This could explain the change in B's behaviour. It does not explain
- the puzzled feeling I experienced after observing the scene for a while.
- Normally, I should not have experienced such an altered state of mind.
- It is hard to describe what it was like -- something like day-dreaming,
- not being fully aware of myself.
-
- B had a very similar experiencd, only much stronger.
-
- I'm not sure if hypnosis ist the correct term for what happened, at least
- there were two things:
-
- - the ability to change a person's state of mind (not very precise I'm
- afraid)
-
- - suggestive talk/actions in order to provoke a change in behaviour
-
- These together with the use of the voice and eye contact made me think
- of hypnosis. Probably hypnosis is not the right word, suggestion would
- be more accurate. What makes the difference? I think hypnosis is very
- advanced suggestion, but maybe I'm wrong.
-
- What are the properties of "covert hypnosis"?
-
- Perhaps I'm mixing up things that are completely different. I hope this
- is the right place to make things clear.
