  36. This could explain the change in B's behaviour. It does not explain
  37. the puzzled feeling I experienced after observing the scene for a while.
  38. Normally, I should not have experienced such an altered state of mind.
  39. It is hard to describe what it was like -- something like day-dreaming,
  40. not being fully aware of myself.

  42. B had a very similar experiencd, only much stronger.

  44. I'm not sure if hypnosis ist the correct term for what happened, at least
  45. there were  two things:

  47. - the ability to change a person's state of mind (not very precise I'm 
  48.   afraid)

  50. - suggestive talk/actions in order to provoke a change in behaviour
  51.  
  52. These together with the use of the voice and eye contact made me think
  53. of hypnosis. Probably hypnosis is not the right word, suggestion would
  54. be more accurate. What makes the difference? I think hypnosis is very
  55. advanced suggestion, but maybe I'm wrong.

  57. What are the properties of "covert hypnosis"?

  59. Perhaps I'm mixing up things that are completely different. I hope this
