  18.  Exactly. And the best part is that it didn't contribute to ANYTHING. 
  19. They just had a subplot that needed getting rid of, so it was done in as 
  20. violent and pointless a way as possible. Love those Italians.

  36.  I know exactly what you mean. Back when home video, the world, and I 
  37. were new, I'd trail along with my parents (who were among the first wave 
  38. of VCR owners) to the neighbourhood video store and pine over the horror 
  39. section. Being rather strict about that kind of thing, they wouldn't let 
  40. me borrow anything with an 'R' rating, so I used to gaze longingly at 
  41. "Friday the 13th" and "Maniac", often imagining the perverse delights I 
  42. was missing.
  43.  Of course, as soon as I was able, I saw the damn things. Needless to 
  44. say, my illusions were shattered.
