- Exactly. And the best part is that it didn't contribute to ANYTHING.
- They just had a subplot that needed getting rid of, so it was done in as
- violent and pointless a way as possible. Love those Italians.

- I know exactly what you mean. Back when home video, the world, and I
- were new, I'd trail along with my parents (who were among the first wave
- of VCR owners) to the neighbourhood video store and pine over the horror
- section. Being rather strict about that kind of thing, they wouldn't let
- me borrow anything with an 'R' rating, so I used to gaze longingly at
- "Friday the 13th" and "Maniac", often imagining the perverse delights I
- was missing.
- Of course, as soon as I was able, I saw the damn things. Needless to
- say, my illusions were shattered.
