- _The Gunslinger_, I must admit, I found only pretty good, which is quite
- below par for the good Mr. King. (I thought Walter would NEVER shut up! :-) )
- However, _The Drawing of the Three_ is GREAT, which makes up for it. _The
- Waste Lands_ is a step down from _Drawing_, but I found it good anyway.
- I find that King is good enough at his craft to divert my attention from the
- fact that I've seen the "motley crew on a quest" plot done 1.604 x 10^43576
- times before, and if this cancellation thing is true, I shall sorely miss
- Roland, Eddie Dean, Susannah, Jake, and Oy. *Sigh*. Oh well... now that Dean
- R. Koontz has run himself into a rut and Clive Barker seems to be more
- concerned with being weird than being scary, I finally have reason to go back
- to reading as much science-fiction as I should. :-)
