  24. It's called a null modem cable.  You cross read and write lines.
  25. Hack one up in 5 minutes yourself, or go to radio shack and buy the
  26. connector for $5.

  28. You use a null-modemed connection like any other connection, but unless
  29. you specifically wire it, don't expect carrier detect or ring to
  30. give you any info.
