  15.     I have been told that my Tseng Et4000 SVGA video card can be upgraded to 24bit, simply by replacing the current DAC (digital analogue converter) with a 24bit DAC (80MHz PLCC 44pin package).
  16.     Has anybody ever done this, and if so how readily available is the new DAC, and roughly how much does it cost.  I have been told to get a Sierra DAC, but can I use one from some other company (I have seen AT&T chips in use).
