  13. TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED TO MY STRANGE BOUTIQUE POSTS (AND ANY NEWCOMERS
  14. AS WELL...):

  16. Strange Boutique will soon release their second full length release under the
  17. Bedazzled label...The CD/Cass is titled "Charm" and will be available on or
  18. around January 25.

  20. "Charm" reflects Strange Boutique's ever changing/progrssing style which shows
  21. no bounds...Whereas The Loved One focused on a more goth sound with very rigid
  22. (almost tribal) drumbeats, Charm wanders and experiments, and is in many ways
  23. a far more satisfying work.  Songs like "Ears to the Ground" retain that
  24. unique Strange Boutique sound found on The Loved One, while the accoustic 
  25. "Alekan Girl" is more upbeat, yet dark..Then there is "Solar Friend" which even
  26. reveals traces of rock and roll!  And of course, "Happy Birthday Wanda June"...
