  28. The reason I set the followups the way I did is that I want to talk about
  29. the message that men get.  The message is this:

  31. 1) If you're a self-centered jerk, you'll get plenty of dates.
  32. 2) It you're a nice, sensitive guy, you may at some time acquire a long-term
  33.    partner who may or may not stop dating self-centered jerks.  In the mean
  34.    time, you might as well watch Popeye cartoons to see what your forearms
  35.    are going to look like.

  43.     by my standards and I rarely find them attractive beyond their bodies.

  45.     I think the "anti-nice guy" sentiment is perpetuated by these women
  46.     AND by some men confusing "nice" with "obsequius", "officious"
  47.     "solictious" etc which no one wants.  Women want Men, not schmucks
  48.     but not spineless panting dogs which is what some men confuse
  49.     to mean as "nice" and when it doesnt work conclude that only
  50.     being a jerk will get them a girlfriend.
