- Someone pointed out to me in email that 1010 WINS stays with 50,000
- watts at night, but shifts to a directional signal, with a eastern
- pattern. They probably have the same sort of deal that that New
- Orleans station did many years ago: They were allowed full power but
- had to serve an offshore area at night. I used to listen to them at
- Florida.
