  16. I've been lurking around for a while but the stuff about trying to talk
  17. in a dream lured me out.

  19. About, I don't know, mayby 10 years ago I had a dream that I was giving
  20. an acceptance speech of some sort.  Somehow I come to understand that
  21. the crowd was going to get hostile if I didn't thank them.  So, being
  22. afraid of such a conflict, I said, "Thank you.", but naturally no one,
  23. myself included, could hear me.  I thought the microphone had died, so
  24. I kept saying louder and louder, "THANK YOU!"  Suddenly, I woke up because
  25. I heard something, and the something was me shouting, "Thank you!"
  26. It has never happened since then, and I still think it was bizarre.

  28. Oh, and to the mad martial arts, sword carrying, gun toting dreamer:
  29. I'm not a violent person, but off the top of my head, so far, in
  30. dreams I've:
  31.     stabbed to death an attempted rapist
  32.     beaten an insurance salesman with a baseball bat, and
  33.     beaten someone to death with a flourescent light tube
  34.     (that last one is my favorite)  
  35.  
  36. For you insurance salesmen out there, the one in the dream was demolishing 
  37. my mother's house with a large, destructive bulldozer . . . while we were 
  38. in it.  He was 'punishing' my mother for not buying insurance from him.  
  39. Once he had a BIG hole made in the side of the house he came in to get her, 
  40. and you know the rest.  Don't mess with my mom, it makes me angry!

  42. (I don't remember what the guy who got it with the light tube had done.  
  43. I'm sure it was awful ;)
