  10. I haven't posted here for a long time, mostly because I can't imagine
  11. anyone being really interested in my dreams!  But this dream was so
  12. interesting that I thought it might be interesting to others who
  13. lucid dream.
  14. I have what I term "electric" dreams, in which I become lucid and experience
  15. a sense of electricity running through me, which pushes me into another
  16. state in which I can fly or move my body just by thought control. In
  17. a recent electric dream (this is only about the tenth one I've had) I
  18. started expeimenting with moving around, once I became aware that this
  19. was another electric dream--it's like I said "Oh, I'm in this state,
  20. I'll see what I can do this time"  I noticed this big mirror on the
  21. wall in my bedroom, and looked into it, excited at the prospect of seeing
  22. what I looked like when I was in this dream state.  But when I tried to
  23. look directly into my eyes in the mirror, they rolled backward into my
  24. head or went "cross-eyed."  I could not directly meet my gaze.  I did
  25. see my hair though--it was standing on end (static electricity!:)
  26. This was the first time I've had such a self-reflective dream--it is
  27. exciting, because it seems that I am gaining more confidence and
  28. trying to experiment more in my lucid dream state, instead of being
  29. afraid of it.  But why couldn't I see myself in the mirror--is this
  30. symbolic or more of a physical fact (I can't look at myself when
  31. I'm dreaming)?
