  13. I just read "The Dreams of Gods and Men" and "Singularities" (I have
  14. not gotten ahold of the first book "The Dreams of FLesh and Sand") by
  15. W.T. QUick.

  17. These are well written, very entertaining and highly recommended.  I 
  18. was pretty disappointed by the Vernor Vinge worship that occurs in 
  19. "Singularities" and the sure of Forward's 'self-aware immortal 
  20. patterns' (that is 'use of' not 'sure of', oops). 
  21.  
  22. Other than that, they were enjoyable.  Lots of mega-corp intrique, 
  23. lots of super-high personal tech (particularly assassin oriented
  24. tech) and even a cyberspace-like world.
