- I just read "The Dreams of Gods and Men" and "Singularities" (I have
- not gotten ahold of the first book "The Dreams of FLesh and Sand") by
- W.T. QUick.
-
- These are well written, very entertaining and highly recommended. I
- was pretty disappointed by the Vernor Vinge worship that occurs in
- "Singularities" and the sure of Forward's 'self-aware immortal
- patterns' (that is 'use of' not 'sure of', oops).
-
- Other than that, they were enjoyable. Lots of mega-corp intrique,
- lots of super-high personal tech (particularly assassin oriented
- tech) and even a cyberspace-like world.
