- Definition of cyber punk;
- to do with technology used in a manner at odds with society's
- strictures, laws etc.
- Definition required now.
-
- SOUNDS WRONG.

-
- No matter how much you want a definition of the movement now, and it would
- seem to be a weakness of character that prevents you from accepting a
- boundless concept, it is wrong to attempt to do so.
- OK so cyber punk's something to do with using technology, well no shit.
- But frankly who are any of us with our limited view to attempt to say who
- is 'CYBERPUNK' :) or not. Can any of you honestly say that you know what
- is happening to technology everywhere across the globe, can you say that
- you know who will play with what to alter our society ? I think not.
- A recent scandal in good ole' blighty concerned a tape of prince charles
- talking intimately with a friend. The tape was recorded from a phone
- conversation and then broard cated so that a number of amateur techies
- could record it. They then distributed it. A number of news paper editors
- experts believe t6hat the tape was recorded by MI5 and broadcasted by them
- to discredit the prince. Does this mean that MI5 are 'CYBERPUNNK' . I think
- not.
-
- cyberpunk is a boundless concept only time will tell who was or was'nt.
