Well LambdaMOO is still up and running; I've found the object-oriented
creation system to be very entertaining in it's time... Check out my
Swiss Army Couch, it has a mutable parent-object- which means that it
can become any 'public' object- Presto! A robot/grandfather-clock/duck
with throwpillows! I think they've got a real-time monopoly game going;
there used to be a StarTrek simulation/wargame.
LambdaMOO is accessed by telnet at lambda.parc.xerox.com, port 8888. Now
adays you need to run through a big rumarole to get yr character verified,
but there should be a Guest if you want to just look around.
